Local Builders Group Opens February Member Meeting To Public

LRBRA has arranged for a February Membership Meeting at the local Frank Webb Bath Center and has opened the meeting to public. Any local contractor or individual may attend for a nominal fee and learn more about the both the state of the Lakes Region construction business and the benefits of a LRBRA membership.

Starting at 6:00 PM on Thursday, February 16th attendees will tour the Frank Webb Distribution Center, followed by a BBQ and Chowda dinner. LRBRA Member-company Frank Webb Bath Center is our Host, located in the Gilford Industrial Park at 302 Houndsell Ave. Free to LRBRA Members, the meeting and dinner is just $15 for non-members, waived if you elect to join the Association that evening.

Attendees will quickly and easily add a Facebook social networking page for their business. As computers will not be supplied, attendees are asked to bring their own wireless-enabled laptop or notebook computer. The social networking applications on smart phones vary and will not be included. This is a hands-on Facebook workshop led by Debbie Bolduc of BizBuzz Marketing Partners, (http://bizbuzznh.com/about-bizbuzz-marketing-partners/) a unique workshop will lead participants through the set-up of a Page and tips on using it to promote their business. While there is no shortage of presentations on the topic, none focus on the “how-to” aspect. Bolduc commented, “People often leave such sessions all ramped up about the importance of utilizing social media but, often feel confused and overwhelmed by the prospect. They just need someone to show them and be there to answer questions”. Bolduc is a member of Women Inspiring Women and the Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce and is a lifelong resident of the Lakes Region where she lives with her husband of 27 years and their two children who are currently attending colleges in the area.
