Microbusiness networking in Jefferson Dec. 15

MicroCredit-NH and its local business group, Jefferson Business Association, are sponsoring a networking event in Jefferson on Tuesday, Dec. 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Jefferson Town Hall, 698 Presidential Highway.

Admission to the event, which includes light refreshments and door prizes, is $5. Registration is required; contact MicroCredit-NH Regional Manager Joyce Presby at 620-0745 or jpresby@microcreditnh.org.

MicroCredit-NH is holding this event to help local self-employed individuals and small business owners increase awareness of their businesses and make new contacts with MicroCredit-NH members and other business owners from the area.

Attendees are welcome to bring business cards, brochures and/or samples to share.

“Networking is one of the most important aspects of successful business development,” said Presby. “It assists business owners in creating supportive business to business relationships that help to increase awareness and sales.”

MicroCredit-NH is a program of the New Hampshire Community Loan Fund, a statewide non-profit organization headquartered in Concord. It provides loans of up to $15,000, matched savings, business education, and networking opportunities for owners of microenterprises and self-employed individuals who want to strengthen their businesses, increase their incomes and achieve financial independence.
