GN Netcom Celebrates Health and Wellbeing in the Workplace

PRESS RELEASE. 06/14/2011. Nashua, NH. GN Netcom (Nashua, NH) held its annual employee wellness fair today. This event celebrated the success of the company’s “Biggest Loser” weight loss competition and introduced the “JABRA-Walkers” Yellow Sneaker Challenge, a summer walking program. Many local businesses and organizations participated in this event organized by CGI Employee Benefits Group (Hooksett, NH) and GN Netcom’s Human Resources team. This was a great opportunity for employees to experience a variety of approaches to personal health and wellness.

Employees indulged in chair massage, engaged in Bikram Yoga demonstrations, and tested their grip strength. Information about healthy eating, home and personal security, proper footwear, and fitness was shared.  This was a ‘first’ for many to experience feng shui and have a posture assessment.  A number of employees bravely broke boards at the front of the room! The energy and excitement from the exhibitors and employees helped make the wellness fair  a successful event.
